Workstation installation is our specialty
Workstation installation is a key part of our business, and we handle the work with our own team rather than passing it on to another removalist.
We dismantle, modify and relocate workstations before putting them back together at the new site. They can be reinstalled in their existing layout or adjusted to suit the new floor plan. Office relocations naturally follow from this, with the same crew already familiar with your furniture and requirements.
How we work
How a Majestics relocation works

Site assessment
Before setting a date, we assess the property, access points, lifts and loading areas to understand exactly what the move will involve and how long it will take.

Planning
We work with your facility or project manager to map out the move and coordinate with other trades already working at the property, so everything runs to schedule.

The work
Our own crew takes care of the breakdown, packing, transport, setup and reinstallation, while working around staff who may still be using the space.

Reinstallation
Workstations are reassembled at the new location in their existing or revised configuration. We can also make height adjustments where required for individual staff.

Clear out
Furniture and items you no longer need can be resold, reused or sent to a hard waste recycling facility. We also remove rubbish and clean the area once the work is complete.

Handover
We complete a final walk-through with you to check the site and address anything that still needs attention before the job is signed off and handed back to you.
Questions
Frequently asked questions about our services
How do we get a price for our move?
Every site and relocation is different, so we do not provide website-based quotes. Send us the site address, an approximate idea of the move and your preferred date, and we can discuss the requirements with you. For larger projects, we can inspect the site first so the price reflects the actual conditions.
Can you move us without shutting the office down?
In most cases, yes. We can stage the relocation with your facility or project manager so the workplace remains operational for as long as possible. Areas can be moved in stages while other parts of the office continue operating.
Do you take the workstations apart and put them back together?
Yes. Workstation dismantling and reassembly is one of our specialities. We can break down the workstations, relocate them and rebuild them at the new site in the existing layout or a modified configuration. Height adjustments can also be made to suit staff and OH&S requirements.
Who actually does the work, your team or subcontractors?
Our own crew handles the main relocation work, including dismantling, removal, transport, setup and reinstallation. For fitout projects, we can coordinate reputable subcontractors for services such as joinery, carpentry, painting and carpet, alongside your existing electrical, fire and plumbing contractors.
What happens to the furniture we are not keeping?
We can help determine the most suitable option for unwanted furniture. Items that still have value may be resold or reused within your organisation, and we can refer you to auction houses where appropriate. Remaining items can be taken to a reputable hard waste recycling facility, with rubbish removal and clean-up completed at the end.
Can you store our things if the new site is not ready?
Yes. We can arrange storage when your new premises are not ready for the move. This can be useful when a fitout takes longer than expected or there is a gap between leases. Let us know what needs to be stored and approximately how long you will need storage when you first contact us.
How far in advance should we book?
It is best to get in touch as early as possible, particularly for larger moves involving an entire floor or building. Lift and loading dock availability can affect the timing, so contacting us early gives us more time to plan. Even if your moving date is not confirmed, we can begin discussing the requirements.
Do you work outside Melbourne?
Yes. We service Melbourne CBD and surrounding areas and also travel throughout regional Victoria. Majestics Relocation has been Melbourne-based since 2006. If you are unsure whether we cover your location, get in touch and we can confirm.
