Frequently asked questions about heavy machinery moves
What sort of equipment do you move?
We move racking and shelving systems, workbenches and benching, and heavy machinery for manufacturing and heavy industry sites. Equipment can be dismantled, transported and reassembled while maintaining its existing setup.
Do you reinstall the machinery at the new site?
Yes. Reinstallation and setup are included as part of the move, with the same crew handling the equipment from dismantling through to reassembly.
How do you work around our production schedule?
We plan around your site’s access, floor loading and available production window. This helps keep downtime as short as the site allows, with the work planned before a date is committed.
Can you move racking without emptying it first?
Racking needs to be cleared before it can be dismantled. Where required, we can help plan the move in stages so stock can be moved progressively while the operation continues.
Do you take away equipment we are not moving?
Yes. Unwanted racking, benching and machinery can be resold, reused or taken to a hard waste recycling facility. We can also refer you to auction houses for equipment that may have value.
Do you work on sites with induction requirements?
Yes. Our staff complete OH&S workplace training and WHS inductions. Safe Work Method Statements are also prepared and implemented for the work we carry out.
